Privacy Policy

How Investment Reclaim UK collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Last updated: June 2026.

Template notice. This policy is a starting template. Please have it reviewed and completed by a qualified data-protection professional, and insert your registered company details and ICO registration number before going live.

1. Who we are

Investment Reclaim UK ("we", "us", "our") is a claims introduction service that connects UK investors with a panel of SRA-regulated solicitors. We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal data in respect of the enquiries you submit to us. Our registered address and company number are set out at the end of this policy.

2. The information we collect

When you request a free assessment or otherwise contact us, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact data — your name, email address and telephone number.
  • Enquiry data — details of the scheme or investment concerned, approximate amounts invested or lost, the approximate year, any reference you provide, and a description of what happened.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and device information, and how you use our website (see our Cookie Policy).

We ask you not to send us special category data (such as health information) unless it is genuinely relevant to your enquiry.

3. How and why we use your data — our lawful basis (UK GDPR)

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the UK GDPR:

  • Consent — where you ask us to assess your enquiry and, if appropriate, introduce you to a panel solicitor.
  • Legitimate interests — to assess enquiries, operate and improve our service, and maintain the security of our systems, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

We use your data to review your enquiry, respond to you (usually within 24 hours), and — only with your consent — introduce you to an appropriate SRA-regulated solicitor from our panel.

4. Sharing your information

We will only share your enquiry details with a panel solicitor where you have consented to an introduction. We may also share data with trusted service providers who help us operate our website and systems, under written agreements that protect your data. We never sell your personal data to unrelated third parties.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, including to meet legal, accounting and regulatory requirements. Where we make an introduction, retention periods are aligned with the solicitor's professional obligations. Enquiry data that does not proceed is deleted within a defined retention period.

6. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; request correction or erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right not to be subject to solely automated decision-making. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Security and international transfers

Your information is encrypted in transit and stored securely, with access restricted to those who need it. Where any data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) are in place.

8. Marketing

We will only send you marketing communications where you have consented, and you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting us.

9. Contact and complaints

For any privacy query, or to exercise your rights, email info@investmentreclaimuk.co.uk or write to us at Coresight Creative Limited, 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
